The residents along Bishopsgate Way and the connecting streets would like to establish a connection to Reston. They have an asphalt trail built to the stream forming the Reston boundary line. It is proposed to place either a fiberglass bridge or culvert to cross the stream so that the crossing is family friendly. The Park Authority uses fiberglass bridges for short crossings like this one.
There is a natural surface trail on the Reston side of the stream but the ground here is wet. It is proposed that an asphalt trail be built and connect to an existing asphalt trail south of the proposed crossing.
