The Glade and Snakeden streams join to form the Twin Branches stream after crossing Twin Branches Road. It seemed only fair to me to call the valleys where these streams flow the twin valleys. This walk will take you through sections of both valleys along and across both streams. Both valleys are wooded with homes adjacent to the wide asphalt trails.

1. The walk starts from the Glade Pool parking lot. Go to the trail along Glade Drive and walk to the edge of the tennis courts. Cross Glade Drive here to the asphalt trail on the other side. The trail will go down a hill with homes on the left and woods on the right.
2. Near the bottom of the hill the trail splits. Take the trail to the left.
3. The trail crosses the Glade Stream. Shortly afterwards it ends at another asphalt trail. Take that trail to the right to follow the stream.
4. The trail crosses a bridge and an asphalt trail intersects from the right. Continue straight on the current trail.
5. The trail crosses Glade Stream again.
6. The trail ends at another asphalt trail. Turn left and follow that trail as it turns to the left.
7. Notice the dirt trail on the right at the point after the asphalt trail turns to the right. Turn right to follow the dirt trail up the hill. You should see a house on your left and woods on your right.
8. The dirt trail intersects with a private road. Follow that road walking on the left facing any possible traffic. There is very little traffic on that section of road. Notice the beautiful landscaping on the homes here.
9. After crossing Triple Crown Road take the concrete sidewalk on the right side of Albot Road.
10. Cross Glade Drive, turn right and follow the concrete sidewalk on that side.
11. Cross Glade Stream Way and turn left to follow the concrete sidewalk down the hill along that road.
12. Cross Middle Creek Lane at the bottom of the hill and take the wide asphalt trail down the hill between the 2 houses.
13. The trail ends at a wide asphalt trail. Turn left to follow that trail.
14. The trail crosses Snakeden Creek.
15. The trail ends at a wide asphalt trail. Turn right to follow that trail.
16. The wide asphalt trail turns to the right and a narrow asphalt trail goes up the hill between the homes. Turn right to follow the wide asphalt trail into the woods.
17. A series of asphalt trails will intersect from the left. Remain to the right on the wide asphalt trail.
18. More asphalt trails intersect from the left. Keep to the right on the wide asphalt trail until you cross Snakeden Creek again.
19. The trail crosses Snakeden Creek.
20. A wide asphalt trail intersects with this trail. Turn left to follow that trail. Houses should be on your right and woods on your left.
21. A wide asphalt trail leading to steps intersects on your right. Continue straight on the present trail.
22. A wide asphalt trail leading to a tunnel intersects on your left. Continue straight on the present trail as it climbs a hill.
23. The trail enters the Glade Pool parking lot concluding the walk back at the starting point.
